1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of FleetByte. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
FleetByte connects people who want transport or delivery with independent drivers and riders. We provide the platform; the transport itself is provided by the driver.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 to hold an account, give accurate details, and keep your password and one-time codes to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Fares and payment
The fare is shown in full before you confirm a trip, including any high-demand pricing. The final fare is calculated from the distance and time actually travelled and may differ from the estimate. Cancellation fees apply as described in the app at the moment you cancel.
5. Conduct
Treat drivers and riders with respect. Do not use the service for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close an account for abuse, fraud or unsafe behaviour, and we will tell you why.
6. Safety
Trips start only after the rider's PIN is given to the driver. Emergency features are provided as a help, not a substitute for the emergency services. In immediate danger, call 999.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our liability is limited to the value of the trip concerned.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app.
